Crash sends 7 to hospital as vehicle goes up in flames

When a serious crash occurs, many people can end up with severe injuries. Sometimes, crashes aren't just about the force involved. If a fire breaks out, people could be badly burned and be caught in a life-threatening situation very quickly.

One example is a crash that harmed multiple people because of a fire in Virginia Beach. A two-vehicle crash left seven people with injuries. The crash, which happened at around 7:30 p.m., pushed one vehicle against a local building.

The Virginia Beach Fire Department heard that one of the vehicles was on fire and called for backup. The vehicle was reportedly engulfed in flames when the first responders arrived.

The crash involved at least seven people, including three children. Images from the crash scene show a smaller car that was burnt up against the building and a disabled SUV in the intersection. It's not clear who was responsible for the crash or what the cause of the collision was.

Fortunately, it appears as though the victims in this collision will survive. If you're involved in a crash like this, you should know that there are many issues that could lead to injuries. You could suffer burns as your vehicle catches on fire or may have painful broken bones or head injuries.

Whatever kinds of injuries you have, it's important for you to know your rights. Seek medical help right away, and take care of yourself and those around you. After you are stable in the hospital, you can begin looking at ways to get compensation for your injuries, losses and other damages.
